Our Services
Soar Art Therapy offer a range of services personalised to each client. If there is something you are after that isn't listed below, please reach out as we may still be able to support you.
Individual Art Therapy
Individual Art Therapy involves one-on-one sessions using creative processes to support mental health and wellbeing. It is suitable for both adults and children, and no previous art experience is required.
Sessions are 50 minutes and use evidence-based Art Therapy interventions tailored to support emotional regulation, trauma integration, and personal growth. For young children Vicki will also incorporate play therapy interventions.
Sessions are available:
-
In person at the Balaclava studio
-
Via outreach at schools, homes, or community centres (where available)
-
Online via secure telehealth
Soar Art Therapy supports private clients, bulk-funded referrals, and NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Clients can also access sessions if they have health fun

Parent and Carer Support
Parent and carer support appointments are a platform to explore how a child is progressing in therapy and allow an assessment of goals. These appointments are also suitable for schools and service providers to discuss goals and support a client collaboratively. This session usually has a duration of 50 minutes.
Online Art Therapy
Online sessions are customised to meet each client’s needs, using a creative and gentle approach grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This model supports the development of regulation skills, values-based action, and emotional flexibility. Creative therapy packs can also be arranged to complement sessions or be used independently.

Resource Building
Personalising and creating specific resources/psychoeducation and activities for the client. This will be customised to their particular therapeutic goals. Please allow one hour for this session.
VOCAT Support and Reports
Soar Art Therapy can write reports for the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT). Each client's needs, history and recommendations will look different, so this report is significantly individualised. Package sessions can be purchased at a reduced rate so clients can access psychological support during this process. In addition to the above services, Soar Art Therapy can also write concise and comprehensive reports. This covers a range of purposes, from letters to other professionals to therapy reviews and NDIS reports.
